The role
We are seeking a Senior Demand Manager to join the Technology PMO Function at MAG. You will manage a team of PMO analysts to support a large portfolio of complex, strategic, and BAU programmes and projects. Your role will involve providing clear and accurate oversight and assurance to the MAG Executive that governance and financial processes are being adhered to, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Governance Framework. You’ll also be responsible for providing insight into our resource supply and demand profile, identifying any associated risks with forecasts, and ensuring effective management of these elements. Additionally, you'll manage the resource supply and demand to maintain optimal capacity and ensure successful delivery.

 

What will make you a successful Senior Demand Manager?
You’ll have demonstrable experience of managing PMO teams to design, implement, and embed demand and financial management governance and a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams of PMO analysts, with effective prioritisation and execution skills in a high-pressure environment. Working closely with the Head of Demand you’ll ensure accurate forecasting and capacity management of delivery resources to ensure a balance between resource supply and demand across MAG Tech and therefore a proven ability to oversee dependencies across portfolios and manage demand processes is required. You’ll have experience of providing insights into delivery and run budgets, managing payment tracking, cash-flow forecasting and supporting Capital Plan profiles with the ability to translate data into insights across all levels of the business. You’ll have outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to summarise large amounts of delivery information concisely, influencing stakeholders at all levels and applying appropriate challenges to meet business outcomes. You’ll also have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project (or similar project management tools)
