About CAVU

For airports, for partners, for people. We are CAVU.

At CAVU, our purpose is to find new and better ways to make airport travel seamless and enjoyable for everybody. From the smallest ideas to the biggest changes — every day here is about creating better travel experiences.

From our revenue-accelerating single platform technology, Propel, through to our world-class hospitality venues including 1903 and Escape Lounges — our solutions make travel more seamless and enjoyable for passengers, and more profitable for our clients and partners.

We know that to bring your best ideas, you need the space to think, the right support, and the freedom to be your true, authentic self.

Whether you’re working from our offices, from home, in a lounge, or out on the road, we provide the environment to create, innovate, and transform airport travel.

If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impact, bring new ideas to life, and push boundaries, then CAVU is the place for you.

Together, we can reach new heights. Together, we are CAVU.

The role

We’re looking for a Front End Senior Developer to join our growing technology team and help build, support, and evolve our market-leading platform. Working with product owners and architects, you’ll be instrumental in defining front-end solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and user-focused.

Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using VueJS, HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and Typescript.
Apply UI architectural approaches such as MVC and SPA, composable UI, and UX best practices.
Collaborate closely with back-end developers, product owners, and architects to implement APIs and integrate front-end functionality.
Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing your knowledge and leading by example.
Contribute to testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Influence the evolution of our platform, preferring maintainability and simplicity over unnecessary sophistication.

You’ll join a fast-growing, ambitious team and work on a platform serving millions of users, supporting 20+ airports and 35+ airline marketplace distributions over the next five year

About you

You are a senior front-end developer who thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment. You are:
•    Curious and eager to learn new technologies, experimenting with new approaches to improve solutions.
•    Comfortable with ambiguity, able to propose and evaluate solutions rather than simply implementing tickets verbatim.
•    Experienced in Vue.js, Vuex, Typescript, Node, Jest, GraphQL, or E2E testing (or keen to expand your knowledge in these).
•    Passionate about coaching and sharing knowledge with your team.
•    Focused on maintainable, high-quality code that prioritises user experience.
•    Energetic, proactive, and able to bring ideas and initiative to team sessions.
